Looking for help with map file

Okay very noob question but I am trying to send someone my maps. The entire map file is 255 mb so I copied the .mdb file, deleted all but 20 or so of my 300 zones and tried to send the new file with just 20 zones. But it is the same size as the file containing all 300 zones. Am I doing something wrong? I opened the new .mdb file to doublecheck it and it only contained the 20 zones I didn't delete yet is just as big as my original map file prior to deletion. Any ideas to help me get it to an emailable size or am I just trying to email the wrong file altogether cuz I really am that big of a noob? :-P

225mb map is a HUGE map :p
load up the map and in the mapper window file->compact map |

Lol you are marvelous! So now my 20 zone file is only 8 mb instead of 200-odd mb. :-P Thank you so much!
