First suggestion: use %params instead of %0. I believe %0 is an old Zmud convention which is now denigrated.

It isn't a bug if you aren't supposed to be using %0. [edit] I believe the only reason it hasn't been removed is so that _old_ code will still work. New code should not use it.

I sincerely apologize if you feel that I have been hostile to you. That is not my intention, and I must admit that I am confused how my responses in this thread could be considered hostile. However, I will try to be more careful about how I say things. Please accept my apology.
As far as I know, there is no reference to %0 anywhere in the Cmud documentation, and never has been. If you find any references to it, please point them out so that they can be marked for correction. |

No, it doesn't seem to be listed in Changes for Zmud Users either. Actually, I don't think %0 was ever a documented feature even in Zmud. It's one of those quirky things that people made use of even though it wasn't documented or necessarily supported. It might indeed be useful to mention it in Changes for Zmud Users, though, since a number of people did use it.

%0 didn't used to exist until MXP was put in, it was specifically for use with MXP but then people found other uses for it and it was abused.
I've noticed that it isn't in the Changes for zMUD users and I could add it but I think I should leave it to the big man to decide. |

I would second myrkul's recommendation it be documented as deprecated, I personally stopped using it once I switched over to cMUD because of %params, etc
