parsing ansi colours

hi,

since going to the new version, i'm now seeing colours differently than before.

For example...

I could see yellow and light yellow before and they were two diferent colours. Now I see them as the same colour, but light yellow is bold.

Is there a setting that I need to change?

Thanks,
Jem

It seems that in the ansi color settings the bold type somehow got changed to bold where it was previously set to highlight.

I'm seeing strange color problems in 1.16 as well.

Colors are bold and seem to be in a different font, and also different color than before.

Any ideas?

Please check your preferences and tell me what your font and ansi color settings are set to. It's possible the default.pkg settings got changed.

Edited: I verified that the default settings changed the ANSI Bold attribute. I have changed it back to the Highlighted rather than Bold option for the next version.

The default command input font was changed from Courier to Courier New to support ClearType.

However, the font for the MUD output should not have changed, nor should any of the other colors.

Mine are the same except I have Courier New, 10, normal, for all of them.

I have the same issue and it looks like its gonna get fixed in the next release. Anything we can do in the meantime?
Thanks :)

Change the bold to highlight. That will help both with the colors and with the spacing problems. A bolded letter takes up 2 spaces.
