stacking walk commands and locking up |
I have aliases set up to #walk to rooms. If the rooms are more than about 10 rooms away, and I #walk to them, zmud looks like it sends all of the commands to the MUD right after each other.... when this happens, zmud or more likely my mud locks up... none of the commands actually get to the mud. I think it is likely just too many commands stacked on top of each other... is there any way to fix this? maybe by sending packets of 5 or 10 commands at a time, or maybe by waiting a bit after each of the commands?

You may want to check with your imms cause I have no problems speed walking that many rooms rather it be via the #Walk command or by double clicking on the map itself. The only thing that I can't be sure of as of yet is the 100 room issue that some may have encountered. However, you may want to take a look at the safe and slow speedwalking options within the map properties as well as other options in there.
Sincerely,

In your Mapper Configuration->speedwalking tab either change your settings use SLOW walk
OR Change your settings to SAFE walk and set your Maximun steps in safe mode to 10ish
Or do that |
