` key not working

Hello,
Just started using cmud, switched over from zmud.
For some reason the ` key does not get passed into the mud. I use that key as the alias for my kill xxx key!
Anyone have any ideas?

Got it, under prefs, scripting, special characters, uncheck the ` key.

it's used as a quoting character at the start of the command line. If you use `, you do not have to use ~ on every special character you wish to literalize.
