Question on the down arrow "save" feature |
Hi everyone,
On Zmud using the down arrow key used to clear the contents of the command line storing to the command history buffer, and could be hit at pretty much any time to do this. With Cmud I've found this continues to be partially true, but if you go back and start typing an earlier command followed by the up arrow key to fill in the rest -all- of the commands that followed after that are now scrolled through when hitting the down arrow key until you reach the last at which point it will then clear the command line (which was not the case in zmud). Was there any way to change this back to act like it did on zmud or some work around? Any help with it would be appreciated as after years of using that feature it's almost a natural habit for me to do it and really niggles the heck out of me now.
Thanks! |

There's no option to change it back as far as I know, you can use esc to clear the command line though.
