Problem with cmud mapper. |
Hello,
I configured cmud mapper so it finds room name, room description and exits perfectly.
But
When i trying use speedwalk blue dot dont change place when i moving.
So it staying always at start point.
It only moves at speed walk, with safe or slow mode it not works.
How to make it move with my with safe and slow mode?
And one more thing.
How to make that map window when i open cmud or minimalize cmud mapper will be always same place at top right , now it always open at bottom left at command line. |

For the location of the mapper, just move it where you want it and resave your layout.
You say it finds room information perfectly but doesn't work with Safe mode? That means the configuration is not actually perfect. It isn't properly matching the room name to the mapped room. The reason that it works in FAST mode (I assume that's what you mean by 'speed walk') is because in that mode it always assumes a move is successful and does not try to match the room name to the map.
Try reconfiguring again, on one of the rooms that you are having difficulty with. If you still have trouble with it, we need more information. Are you using any #NODIR or #NOMAP triggers? Are you using #TAG? Show us the entire mud output, starting several lines before you send a movement command to a few lines after the prompt, so we can see what the mapper is trying (and failing) to match. |

Hi,
I tried save layout but it not works, this map bar always appear at bottom right.
What more information you need to see why it not works?
Room looks like this:
A Fiery Meeting Room
This room is a big circular chamber with benches along the walls and a raised
central platform in the center. The platform is about one hundred feet
across and illuminated by a large flaming globe suspended above the platform
by some magical means. Spaced out between the benches are iron braziers
filled with burning coals that spit out an acrid smoke, filling the room in
a warm haze. Ghostly images flicker amongst the benches, like ethereal
spectators that observe the central arena.
Obvious exits: -North -South -West
this is mob->A flickering image appears near the benches.(Gold Aura)
< 728h/728H 170v/170V Pos: standing >
and here are my setting:

I don't know if this is inherent to Windows or specifically a CMud thing, but minimized window positions aren't saved. You can save the layout with the windows minimized, but when you reload the session all such windows are moved to the bottom left of the screen and tiled to the right. |

I don't know about it being a Windows thing, but CMUD does use a third party layout manager, so if it's a bug it's probably in that, and out of Zugg's hands.
