F7 conflicts (spell check vs macro button)

I purchased cMud 2.37 today after using the full 30 days trial.

One thing that happened consistently while using the trial, and is still happening today, is "F7" is pulling up a spellcheck instead of the Macro Button I assigned to F7.

Also, most any time I hit one of the other macro buttons (F1 through F12), "File" is highlighted up above as if I had hit ALT+F. I have to hit ESC to clear it, which is not convenient in a battle.

Any ideas?

Go to Options -> General on the menu setting. There's an option for "Macro's Override Menu Shortcut". Make sure it's checked.

There's a small possibility that this is a 3.x feature. I've been using it so long my memory is off. If that's the case the 3.x line will soon be released out of Beta.

Also, there was a bug in v2.37 that causes issues with F7 getting confused that was fixed in one of the 3.x beta versions.
