I've found that trying to open a new map (or reopen the current map) will cause this problem. It also occurred in 3.02B

Remains in 3.03a. Didn't start until I started using the mapper.

I've experienced this when working in a map, giving up, and opening a new map, required a restart of CMud to get rid of, really annoying.

I noticed that there is no reply to this problem. It is not a minor one. This problem prevents A) The creation of new maps, B) The loading or re-loading of maps after the initial load, and C) The loading of sessions that want to use a copy of a map.
In other words, if CMUD does not use the map that it has directly converted from the old format and that it loaded at the original startup, it will not load the map and it will bomb. |

It's the time. Zugg's the only one who really knows what's going on in the crash dumps, since he's the only one who's seen the code, so he's the only one who can really respond to this sort of thing. He's back on Monday.

I had this happen to me. I wound up completely uninstalling CMUD, reinstalling CMUD and creating a new session. That seemed to solve the problem for me. I've also sent in crash dumps for the same issue. Hope this helps for you all. You might be able to get away with just creating a new session, though I'm not sure.
