[1.19] Variable Syntax Highlighting in scripts
 
Just something small for you tinker with :p

Syntax highlighting in scripts works for

@var

But not for @var.value or @var_value
in both cases only the the part before the . or _ is highlighted

The current syntax highlighter is only a guideline. It used a basic syntax definition that comes from another editor. It is not fully parsing the text and can't handle complex syntax. Doing this would require actually parsing the full code, which is more time consuming. So it's not going to be as good as the syntax highlighting that zMUD had yet. But the advantage is that you'll be able to provide/edit your own syntax files to change how the highlighting works, or to have highlighting for other scripting languages based upon other *.stx syntax files that are available on the net.
