Password Retrieval |
I've been playing my MUD for a very long time, but quit playin about a year ago. I've since returned and want to start playing again. My settings are very complex and I've built on them since I began playing this MUD. Settings include an autologger, that I have also used since I began playing. But, the problem is, before I quit playing last year, I changed the passwords on all of my characters. They are still saved in my settings, so I am still able to log in, via the autolog, but, I'm unable to log in normally. I'm afraid that if I lose my settings somehow, I'll lose 8 years of progress on my characters.
Anyway, my question is, is there any way to retrieve my password from my settings? The coders on my MUD are often less than helpful, and the password change feature, requires the old password. I've tried all of the pw's I've ever used, but it's none of them unfortunately. :/
Thank you for your time. |
