I get a different code. |
---------------------------
Unable to get license!
---------------------------
Unable to get or install a license
Retrieval of license failed with error code = 17.
All renewable licenses are currently active- no license
is available at this time.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
This is the code that I get. I emailed to supposrt@zuggsoft.com but haven't received any response so I registered here to see if I can get some help. I have had zMUD for about 6 years now and really enjoy it so if you can help me, I'd be most grateful. |

You are only allowed three instances of your license

You have used all three of your licences up goto a computer where you have installed Zmud and Unlicense a copy or wait 3 months for one to autoexpire.
These past few weeks have been pretty hectic for Zugg and email response might be slow, If after a week you don't get a reply its ok send again. |

Tanks but I don't have 3 pcs licensed to zMUD. The pc I'm trying to get licensed was licensed before but since I wiped the hard drive it won't license again. Is there any way to trace the licenses so that maybe if Zugg shows this pc still licensed it can be changed so that I can actually do the license?

Make sure you are using the latest 7.05 version of zMUD. Older versions had problems with the code -17 error occuring if you didn't remember to unlicense before reformatting. The new version is better at dealing with this. If you still get this problem with the new version, send us a polite email asking to reset your reg code and we'll take a look at it.
