[1.12] Incorrectly parsing hyphens? |
In zmud I had aliases that had hyphens in them. An example would be asu-tar which took me from the town of ASubuhi to Tarzhayan on my mud. However, none of my hyphenated aliases work in cmud. I determined it was the hyphen after removing it from the alias, making it "asutar" and then the alias ran. However, I was wondering if there was a way to turn this incorrect parsing off. I have hundreds of hyphenated aliases and it would be a major pain to edit them all. I thought maybe it was the "smart command line" option misreading something, but when i turned it off, when i typed "asu-tar" it sent "asu<space>-tar" to the mud :P Whatever it is, it's irritating as hell.

Currently Aliases cannot contain hyphens. Currently an Alias must start with a letter, and then can only contain letters, numbers, and the _ character. This should be improved in the next version.
