mapper problem |
Sometimes im just walking along mapping an area and its working fine and then sometimes when i try to go back to a room thats already been mapped instead of just moving me into the already created room it creates a new one directly on top of it, and if i keep going it creates new rooms on top of all the old rooms, i cant figure out whats doing it but i never typed up or down or came accross a up or down exit so i dont think thats it, any help?

If zMUD thinks the roomname or something has changed it will create a new room instead of relinking

If it has an up or down exit, or any directional exit you know is not there then there's some sort of text from your MUD that zmud matches on. It's usually used as the roomname, with any directions in that line being the exits from that "room". To fix this, make a trigger off that line and put a #NOMAP in that trigger's code.
