how to get #ses to work with characters in another folder?

after updating from 7.13->7.20 folders were introduced. ive got about 100ish characters so i loved that and sorted them into folders. but problem is now i cannot use #ses to connect characters in another folder. anyone know a workaround for this?

Try #SES folder|character. I am just guessing on that one, but many things use that notation.

new path notation? you might wanna elaborate a bit.

and istroath.. the chars im trying to load are in a lowerdown folder... see my default big folder is where i put my avs. then i got folders for my storage chars, portal points, lowbie storage, stuff to level. if thats what you mean.. the structure is what you are talking about already.

In ZMud, it used to be that if you had multiple non-trigger settings (not sure if this is limited just to variables) in different places you would have to either disable various folders or set the default class to where you needed it. This is because ZMud first searches the default class and then searches the settings file in a top-down, parent folder to child folder format (the NONE folder comes first), and whatever was found first was the setting that got used.

Zugg later added the ability to specify exactly which variable you wanted to use based off of Unix conventions, I believe.

../myvar
somefolder/myvar
