Losing connection to mud

When a lot of data comes in (IE people have a lot of stuff in thier inventory), if there is too much data at once zmud will lose connection. Where is the setting for this feature to lengthen the amount of data it can receive? What is the maximum that zmud can receive before losing connection?

Step by Step

1. Player types eq
2. mud sends eq list (with lots of colors)
3. zmud disconnections 3/4 of the way through the list.
4. reconnect
5. Lather, rinse, repeat

There is no such setting in ZMud. The closest thing in Preferences is the Spam Protection stuff, but that only works on the outbound stuff going to the mud and not stuff coming in from it.

Are you connecting via a network, or directly via dial-up modem? If it's the former and you are using XP, there's a chance you may need to upgrade your network card drivers as XP originally shipped with a bug that caused packet loss and thus you lost connection frequently.
