tool bar |
..Is there a way to have the tool bar at the top not be visable so that I have a larger text screen and have the tool bar appear when I move my cursor to the top of screen?

I havent seen an option to Auto-Show tool bar, but theres one to remove it.
Settings -> Preferences -> General -> Uncheck Show main toolbar |

Yes, this is possible. At the moment though, I forget how it is done...
I think in view|preferences there is a checkbox somewhere to bring menu bar to fore. If you haven't already, you'll have to undock your window from the toolbar. Wish I could remember how it's done. Good luck, if you don't figure it out by my next visit, I'll try to play with it and get the proper actions for this. |

Ah right, clicking the "+" sign on top right I think. That should undock the main window and make it fullscreen.
