Major problem and completely at a loss as to how to fix it..

Everytime I access any of the settings files for alias's/triggers/macros/mapping etc... it enters the settings screen but then Zmud freezes are up and refuses to respond. The menu button as all there but nothing is accessible.

None of the triggers/alia's/macro's etc are listed in that screen and its completely non interactive. I have to ctrl+alt+delete to enter the Windows close program window where it lists Zmud as not responding.

However the triggers/alias's/Macro's all work fine during game. Its only when I try to modify or enter the settings file itself. I am completely as at loss as to what has happened/ However I am not technically minded.

This is likely a corrupted settings file. The method to fix it is found here.

Thanks.

It does sound like its corrupted. However when I follow the directions through, even trying another mmud altogether, starting a character from fresh, the same thing happened. Is it possible something has corrupted all of the settings files for Zmud?

And if so should I just redown load it? (bugger took me 45 minutes last time. no Broadband.)
Or is there a method I can do just to reset all of the settings files?

Try renaming the zmud.ini and deleting the setting.dok files. It is possible that the window position information they contain got corrupted.

Thank you, that seems to have fixed it. I was unable to find the zmud.ini file but the settings.doc file was there.

Upon deleting it, I was once again able to access my settings. Thank you!!!
