Any simple way to make a script that will walk through all the rooms in a zone?

Basicaly I want it to go through 95% of the rooms in a certain zone looking for items etc. Can't really think of an easy way to do it.

thargy created a script a while back to walk through all mapped rooms.

It contains Thargy's script, and 2 other versions I wrote as well as a discussion on difficulties of using it as well, and what I did in the end.
