Command Line

Man, I figured this would have been covered a thousand times over again. I've searched in the forums for "remove command line" and "command line", gone through the help files, and all of the preferences. If I'm duplicating this question for the billionth time, please excuse me.

I don't want the command line. I want to type commands directly into the mud. I'm just trying to play Tradewars2002 and other games for MBBS/WG. These games require you to type things, but NOT press enter. Say I need to port and trade. I type P (without a return!) to get to the port. As it is, I cannot do anything in the game because the return gets called after the P, which automatically accepts the default answer for the next thing that comes up.

Any way to remove the command line and type directly into the client?

Again, I'm sorry if this has been gone over before, but I simply couldn't find it.

What you are looking for is Character Mode. This is enabled in the Preferences under Emulation. You can remove the command line by right-clicking in the output window and deselcting Attached Command Line. If you choose to script some activities in TW2K2 you will need to use the #SENDPROMPT command to control sending of carrige returns.
