Newbie question concerning output window.

Hello everybody,

This is probably something that can be solved quite easily, but as of yet I haven't found a way. I'm using zMUD 7.04.

When playing a MUD I must've accidently pressed a wrong button which removed all the vertical spacing between events in the output window. I don't mean every single line of text, but clusters of text. For example:

It's supposed to be like this:

Health(unscathed) Mana(untapped) Moves(fully rested) >
A castle knight hits Dhe rather hard which severely wounds him.

Health(unscathed) Mana(untapped) Moves(fully rested) > m knight
A castle knight has some big nasty wounds and scratches.
He looks well rested and ready to go.

Health(unscathed) Mana(untapped) Moves(fully rested) >
You completely fumble your attack!
A castle knight has some big nasty wounds and scratches.

However, now it shows as this:

Health(unscathed) Mana(untapped) Moves(fully rested) >
A castle knight hits Dhe rather hard which severely wounds him.
Health(unscathed) Mana(untapped) Moves(fully rested) > m knight
A castle knight has some big nasty wounds and scratches.
He looks well rested and ready to go.
Health(unscathed) Mana(untapped) Moves(fully rested) >
You completely fumble your attack!
A castle knight has some big nasty wounds and scratches.

This makes things very hard to read and I can't figure out how to change these settings. Can anybody help me? I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!
CD

This is usually a MUD setting named 'compact'. It can also be done with zMUD, using a trigger, but there's no chance of making such a trigger accidentally.

Thank you for the explanation. I don't think it's very likely I accidently created and activated a trigger. However, I'm not too interested in how it happened, but I DO want to get rid of it and get the blank lines back. Wink

Would anybody know a solution?

Thanks!

Did you check the MUD settings per Lightbulb's suggestion?

Also, if it's a zMUD feature that caused it, then post it over here also cuz rodzeth wants to make his output look compressed too.
