Preventing 'too fast' messages

I have been pondering on this for a while, and haven't come up with anything that will delay your movement enough to prevent getting a 'Now now, don't be so hasty!' message. I've seen scripts that automatically resend the direction if it gets this, but I don't even want to get there, mainly for speedwalking reasons. I was thinking I could alias onroomenter to include #PAUSE;#WA 2000;#STEP but that didn't work(neither did using an ALARM}. I really don't want to have to go to every room on the mapper and add something to the Room Script.

Can someone give me some ideas on how to approach this?
