Auto Login does not work for me?

Hi.

I have a single char on a mud. I was not prompted for auto logging in.
So I just logged in. I then edited the char, adding my name and password,
but I cannot for the life of me see an option for auto logging in.

I tried creating a duplicate to see if I missed the prompt, but the
same behaviour occured again - I saw no prompt for auto-login.

I read the FAQ and searched the help files - but they just say it should
happen (not what to do if it doesn't). I have looked through the settings,
preferences and aliases (after finding posts on here about an 'atconnect').
But the whole experience is a bit bewildering.

Could someone point me in the right direction, please?

I'm running WinXP Pro with zMUD version 7.05.

should be able to handle this in one of two ways. On the character screen, right-click and select properties. One of the tabs has entries for character name and password. I find that it doesn't always work for me, so the other way is to trigger your mud's login lines(i.e #TRIG {Enter your name:} {dumas};#TRIG {Enter your password:} {dillweed})

This usually ends up working for me.

The autologin wizard doesn't make the autologin script until the second time you login. This is because your first login is usually a new character, so the questions are different.

If you fill in the name and password by editing the character, the autologin wizard won't run because it assumes the login script is made at the same time the name and password are filled in.

Thank you.

I deleted the char and started again - just adding the host and port.
After my second successful manual login a window popped up; prompting me for auto-login details.
