annoying problem - map properties window hidden

Impossible to say what the reason can be for this but each time I try to open properties for zmud mapper it comes hidden beyond the zmud main window. Minimizing main zmud window causes the map properties window to go minimized as well what makes it impossible to access it and no change in map properities is possible at all.

I have had the problem some time ago and not having found any simple solution I had to use my backup copy. This time my friend has the same problem but unfortunately he has no backup made.

Do anybody know what file is going to be checked, removed to solve the problem? Removing .lay files does not help.

The problem may be that your main window is set to "stay in front", which is activated by hitting the little + button on the right side of the title bar.

An option if that doesn't fix it is to roll up the window by hitting the little ^ button, also on the right side of the title bar. This will get the main window out of the way so you can see the map properties without minimizing.

Hiya

Is the 'keep on top' button thingy in the top right hand corner pressed as that would stop you seeing the map properties.

Easiest way to fix this is open the zMud.ini in notepad. Find the "[RoomProp]" section and change the "OnTop" just below it to 1. Do the same for "[MapProp]".
