Zmud and my Laptop.... Help me please....

I am trying to use zmud on my laptop for when i am traveling, but everytime i open the zmud software it makes 8 of my keys on my keyboard only display numbers when i type them, like the u, i, o, j ,k, l, m, etc. I know that these keys are also the number pad for the laptop but it only comes on when i open the zmud software and will not shut off until i close the software. If anyone can help me i would really appreciate it. Thanks

Some laptops use those keys as the number pad. Try disabling or toggling 'Num Lock'. Additionally, There are small number keypads that can be pluged into the ps2 keyboard port if your laptop has a ps2 port, for walking with the Numberpad. Check with you local computer hardware vendor .
