If you get frequent crashes in v6.62 |
If you get random crashes (access violations) in zMUD for no apparent reason after being connected to the MUD for several minutes, and if you have been using zMUD since v6.0x (September 2000) or before, then email your reg code to support@zuggsoft.com and tell us that you are getting these crashes. There is apparently a problem with a small number of old reg codes with the new version of eLicense used in v6.62 that causes these crashes.
UPDATE!
We have worked with eLicense on this issue and now have a general fix for the problem. Instead of emailing zuggsoft.com, simply right-click on your ZMUD.EXE file and select Unlicense from the eLicense control menu. Then run zMUD to get the Trial screen and click the License button. Enter your registration code into the Order ID field and then click Install License. This will reset your license and stop the crashes. Please try this and only email us if this doesn't work for you.
