zMUD coloring trouble |
I'm having loads off problems with zMUD. Well, perhaps not with the program itself but the way that it don't show anything when I connect to a MUD. It's got to be related to colors, because, in the preferences menu - color settings, there's nothing showing except the black background color. Now, I'm using Windows XP with zMUD 6.16 and I'm thankful for any help that can be provided to me.
thanks

You should isolate the fault then come back to us with more details. Have you tried more than one mud? Have you confirmed the port is correct? Also, try to select the alleged text (say it's there but invisible due to colours) and paste it into something else, to validate whether or not there is text.

In the preferences color settings, select one of the predefined color schemes (VT100, ANSI, or Windows). If that doesn't help, go to the Colors Foreground Mapping in preferences and Set Colors to Default.

I don't know what I did or what just happened, but when I started zMUD a few minutes ago, the colors where there and everything was just dandy...
Thanks for your help anyway Girifox and LightBulb!
