password echo

ok.. ive been having problems with stored passwords in v6.16.
is there a way i can echo my password to the mud and have it show in my outpout window? ive now lost two characters that i spent a LOT of time on over the last several months, as Zmud one day stop ssending the correct password to the mud. I need to be able to check all my characters that i still have to see if I have changed passwords and mebbe forgotten doing it. I have turned off "gag password" int he options menu, but when logging in, my password still isnt sent so it is readable.

You can see your password with the command
#SAY %pass
if "gag password" is off.

If you changed passwords on the MUD but not on zMUD this won't help. The other reason zMUD might not send the password is a change to the MUD's login dialog. For example, if it used to be "Enter password:" and now it's just "Password:" zMUD will still be looking for "Enter password:" until you tell it different.
