Keep Alive Option
 
I seem to remember there being a keep alive
option in Zmud ... perhaps it was an older
version ... where you could ping the mud to
keep the connection alive ... was there
such a command? is it still hidden somewhere
in the newer versions? if not, could it
be brought back Zugg ... please? :)

You can use alarm triggers for this.
"
#ALARM -30:00 {save}

The hour isn’t specified, so it defaults to *. Thus, this trigger saves your game every 30 minutes of connect time.
"

#ALARM -30:00 {save;emote snort.}

whatever will keep your connection open.

there is also the tick-timer available in the preferences that can be used for that, to send any sort of command.
