Mapper fails to work correctly in 7.04 |
Ive always made extensive use of the mapper functions of zmud and its the main reason i paid for the license. However, since upgrading from 7.03 to 7.04 the mapper fails to function correctly. When speedwalking is set to 'slow' it can follow the first step you take, but the queue isnt cleared of the room you just entered. Using the command NODIR after everystep to clear the queue of the last step allows the mapper to follow your next step, but without doing this the mapper is constantly waiting for you to enter the room your already in.
Any ideas? |

Make sure the new Prompt trigger in the mapper prompt preferences is set up to trigger on your MUD prompt, or turn off the new option for using the MUD prompt to control speedwalking.

I'm facing a different sort of problem in zMUD 7.04's automapper.
When I map a new zone, although the links between two rooms are shown, the links are not necessarily present in the database. I.e., the mapper shows that there is a link between room A and room B, but when I try to go from room A to room B, it won't let me, as the link has not been created in the database (I checked this by opening up the properties for that room and checking the exits)
Also, when I use the Keyboard Creation option, in rooms like the ones mentioned above, *sometimes* it won't let me create the link between them, but on the other hand, sometimes it will.
Is there some forum where issues like this are listed/can be posted ? |
