Your MUD is probably sending you the extra blank line. You may be able to eliminate it by changing config/set/auto/preferences on the MUD itself. You could also check your zMUD prefs, you might be able to eliminate it by disabling "Use GA/EOR for prompt" in the General/Emulation section.

As i recall my old Zmud didnt show this problem and I checked the configuration for the Mud itself and there is nothing i can do about it on it.. I tried disabling Echo in my Mud and well then since the command doesnt show the blank line doesnt as well and only the action shows but it's not preferrable for me.. Thankyou for your reply Light but can you or anyone else give me other suggestions?
Thankyou |

I am having the same problem, and it wasn't in the 6.x betas either, when connected to the same mud with the same configuation. I've looked all through the Zmud settings and can't figure out how to get rid of the blank lines.

I am having the same blink line issue. It as if the process of sending a command to the mud displays an extra blank line after the sent command. I did not see this behavior in v6.62
However, it is difficult to track down exactly what is happening. I made a test connection to a simple echoserver that did no more than echo my text back at me, and saw no extra blank lines when communicating with the echo server.
So clearly this behavior depends on which mud you connect to. Given the fact that the behavior is new in 7.01, I hold out hope that it can be tracked down and the behavior removed in some future release. |

I am on v7.03.
I see what you mean.
There is a difference between sending a command off the command-line,
and using #send {firstcommand%cr%{lf}secondcommand}.
It is there but I never noticed it, it never bothered me.
Was it not like that in v6.62? |
