Turning off local echo? |
Is there a way to completely turn off local echo, and I don't mean just making it black so it blends in, I mean turning it off completely, maybe with an alias or something?

Don't use it.
Seriously any ting you have with #echo could br rewriten to #say
soulveint the problem of going to the main screen
turn off the class using the #echo
say you where in your main character and you had #echo coming from another character and you just wanted to shut it down for awhile you could shut off the #class or #aliias Or whatever it is by using #t- and then #t+ to turn it back on joind with : to switch it from character to character.
Ok More simply here is an example that is also Instructions:
My main is Yosef, so I type
#name Yosef
My sub character is Birsic, So I type
#name Birsic
now Birsic has this Trigger:
#trigger tell {(%w) Tells tou ~'(*)~'} {#echo {%1}}
someone Tells you 'Hello'
I see this in my main window (whatever character I have on)
Hello
NOw lets say I wanted to shut him up for awhile, I would type in my main character
:Birsic:#t- tell
If I wanted to hear it again it would be
:Birsic:#t+ tell
Or I could make it a button or I could incorperate it into a program or script.
get it? |

No, you don't understand... Local echo means that whatever command you input is also displayed on the mud output screen, normally in yellow. I dont want zmud to display what I just typed in, I want it GONE

You can turn it off under prefs ==> script parser===> Uncheck echo commands

Yes. Disable Echo Commands in the Script Parser prefs.
