Makeroom always moves me into the room

I am making a trigger so that when I try to walk onto a river, and am told something like 'you have to swim to go there' that it automatically builds a room there and shades it blue. I made a simple trigger and I am using #make to build the room. I also put #nodir in there, so the mapper won't move me into the room, but it always does (and I don't want it to). I have searched and read about this, and I can't figure it out. I concluded it was part of #makeroom to move you into the room. Anyone know a way around this? Do I have to #tele me back to the previous room? Thanks!

Since the arguements for #MAKEROOM include a direction, you could use #MOVE with the reverse direction. To automatically figure the reverse use the %reversedir function.
