Tradewars 2002

Ok I'm attempting to use Zmud 6.62 for playing tradewars and it's a blast except I have one problem concerning CR+LF I think...
I can't get the text to display and format correctly until the text hits the bottom of the screen ie i type CLV the screen clears and start at the top of the window but everyline isn't aligned to the left as it should be until it hits the bottom then all is good.
here's an example

<Re-Display>

Sector : 4128 in The Ferrengi Empire. Beacon : No Trespassing Hooman! Ports : Zmans Pimple Port, Class 7 (SSS) Planets : (M) Ferrengal Fighters: 100 (belong to your Corp) [Defensive] Warps to Sector(s) : 3569 - 19503

Command [TL=00:00:00]:[4128] (?=Help)? : D <Re-Display>

Sector : 4128 in The Ferrengi Empire.
Beacon : No Trespassing Hooman!
Ports : Zmans Pimple Port, Class 7 (SSS)
Planets : (M) Ferrengal
Fighters: 100 (belong to your Corp) [Defensive]
Warps to Sector(s) : 3569 - 19503

Command [TL=00:00:00]:[4128] (?=Help)? :

notice the first sector re-display? <ARGH forum isnt quite showing it how it is actually> (hopefully you get the jist) the second one has hit the bottom of the window and looks just fine

I have ansi/vt100 checked/unchecked tried all kinds of variations
I'm stumped so it must be a simple solution :P
any help appreciated.

THanks for the flash backs! :)

To fix this problem you will need to map newlines to CR. And have your terminal setup for ANSI (looks like you have already done this)

To set your newlines to CR: View --> Perferences --> General ... --> Click on Connection --> Check CR under Carriage Control

Another suggestion to make zMUD more TW friendly...
View --> Perferences --> General ... --> Expand the General Tab --> Emulation --> Check the box 'Character Mode'

Stay away HOOMAN!

theres a space inbetween the lines. now I'm not sure if this can be rectified
Heres how it looks now
Sector : 4128 in The Ferrengi Empire.

Beacon : No Trespassing Hooman!

Ports : Zmans Pimple Port, Class 7 (SSS)

Planets : (M) Ferrengal

Fighters: 100 (belong to your Corp) [Defensive]

Warps to Sector(s) : 3569 - 19503

it should look like this and i cannot seem to find a way to do it

Beacon : No Trespassing Hooman!
Ports : Zmans Pimple Port, Class 7 (SSS)
Planets : (M) Ferrengal
Fighters: 100 (belong to your Corp) [Defensive]
Warps to Sector(s) : 3569 - 19503

check your game setting and see if it is set to Pause or all keys. If it is set to all keys that is probably whats causing the double spacing.
(hit c then n then 9)
I dont know what the hell Im doing just what works for me.
