Mapper, check for exits after keyword |
Hi there,
I am currently having a few problems trying to get the automapper to work
correctly. It seems to pick directions from the entire line that the
keyword is on rather then after the keyword. For example:
Some room:
Blah blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah
Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah
to the West. You see exits leading north,
south and up.
Here the automapper will recognise west as a direction.
There are two ways to distinguish the real exits:
*they are in blue
*they are AFTER the "You see*exit?" pattern.
Is there any way to check for this? Oh mighty guru's :)
Thanks for reading. |

heh, ZMud can literally do anything you desire related to parsing text and acting upon the results. It may not be the best way and the doing might be light-years beyond your understanding, but it's possible.
As for what you want, look into the use of #TAG:
#trigger {You see exits leading (*).} {#TAG exit} |
