Command line problem

How do I correct this?
I enter a command or Tell and press enter.
Mud sees "open east" command and responds with you can't see that then acts on my command. See copy below.

I enter w for west and this is shown.

- open east
w
You can't see it to open it
Then I go to west.

How do I rid the open east?

It could be a number of things causing open east to occur. First, turn the mapper off and see if "open east" is sent when you type "w". If you are still opening east try removing any aliases named w or west. Type: #unali w and #unali west

Although I have a feeling your mapper is configured incorrectly. Bring up the mapper then click Config->Configuration Settings->Strings and Doors. I have my door string set as: open %2 %1   %2 being the door name and %1 being the direction, and below that you can set the default door name if a door name is not defined. I have that set as door

I hope this helps,
