Using the Database Feature

Is there any help files or anyone willing to explain how to use the database feature of zMUD? It's really the only feature I don't use and thats because I dont' know how. The new port of my MUD has made existing other DB applications built by other mudders pretty much obsolete so now I wanna set up the zMUD database to read in the info and stuff of my equipment. lemme know.

Open the helpfiles and click on the "Contents" button. You should have a dialog box showing several book icons with titles next to them.

There's a whole section of the help files titled "Introduction to the Database". It's the third one down if you're using 6.16.

Additional information may be found for individual commands in the section "Commands". All the commands which contain DB (DBclose, loopDB, etc) pertain to the database, along with some others.

Information regarding database functions may be found in the section "Function Reference". The subtopic "Function Reference" (the first subtopic in 6.16) contains an organized list of most available functions, including "Database Functions:" and "Database Column Functions:".
