just wondering... |
Has anyone ever tried to do an automated quest setup? That keeps looks for the message "You may now quest again." and goes and requests a quest then looks for the item and area and either uses a gate post or speedwalk path. Is it possible? Just wondering...
Thanks |

Sweet, I guess i'll have to get to work on it then. = )
I might stop back on some questions on a few things though.
Ok, basically, I can get to the part where it asks the quest and when I come back to complete it. But the trigger isn't firing off certain things.
Questmaster says 'Seek (Quest Mob) A statue of Smithy out somewhere in the vicinity of Smithy's Office!'
I have (%w) says 'Seek (Quest Mob) A Statue of Smithy out somewhere in the vicinity of Smithy's Office!'
It's still not firing. Any clues/hints why? |

It doesn't match because ( and ) have a special use in trigger phrases. To use them as literals, precede them with ~.
(%w) says 'Seek ~(Quest Mob~) A Statue of Smithy out somewhere in the vicinity of Smithy's Office!'
