Triggers and bitmaps

is it possible to use a trigger to bring up a bitmap image in another window?

example:
I enter a room which triggers a specific bitmap (an artistic representation of what i imagine the room to look like) to be displayed.

Well, really the only way to do it is by posting the bitmap on a wep site and use a trigger on the room name to open the url to the page the image is on, IE:

#TR {Room Name} {#URL http://....}

Other than that, this kind of feature will be available with the ZMapper project that will be out soon. It will allow you to make rooms look however you want them to look, or replace them with bitmap images and the such, so you might want to look into the feature for it.

You could also use #LAUNCH to start a picture viewer (mspaint?) with the bitmap in it.

I have not tried this, but I think it is possible to display a bitmap image in another window.

Set up a big button type thingy in that window and assign its bitmap background to that picture using the #button command. You can focus the command to that window so that the button is created there instead of your main window.
:windowname:#button ...

Can't you also do this with MXP? I haven't played around with the <IMAGE> tag, but there is documentation on it here

http://www.zuggsoft.com/zmud/mxp.htm

the <IMAGE> info is closer to the bottom of the page. Looks pretty straight forward. Post your script if you get it to work :) I think MXP is cool, and I love using it.
