I did it again, answered my own question.
the mud server does NOT need to support MXP in order to use it. However, MXP a lot of the features of MXP are server side features. In other words, it doesn't make any sense to use them on the client side.
As far as client side support, you can mark up text (add color, font weight, italics, make links, etc). You can also add images and sounds. other than that, what would you want to do with mxp?
I'm looking for a MXP enabled mud. If anyone knows of one, please post the telnet address, and also web url for the mud (if they have one).
MXP is very exciting, and I'm really impressed from what I gathered in my reading |
