Overiding the default ANSI colors? |
The MUD I play uses ansi colors and all the default output is grey, What I want to do is change the default text color to green like the VT100 emulation. Is that possible to do?

Is there a setting on your mud for term type? The mud I use I can set the term type, ansi or vt100.
Killing a fly on a friends forhead may not be overkill, use a hatchet to make sure the job is done. |

If you just want to change the default text, choose Colors from the Preferences menu. If you want to redo actual colors use Colors|Foreground Mapping and/or Colors|Background Mapping.

The problem is that the mud doesn't have a setting for term type and it doesn't work by changing the default text in preferences becuse the MUD will overide that setting with the ansi color code that it send

"If you want to redo actual colors use Colors|Foreground Mapping and/or Colors|Background Mapping." Since this changes the colors used for individual ANSI codes, there is no way the MUD can override it. Change ALL the foreground colors to green and I guarantee ALL text from the MUD will be green.
I suggest trying things before complaining they don't work.
