Trigger on Prompt? How.

I want the trigger to fire on the prompt without having to hit enter for a newline. How do I get a trigger to fire on prompt without having to hit enter.
Thanks. The trigger is set up and works, only if I hit enter for a new line.

In the options tab, check the trigger on prompt box.
