[3.32] GMCP being printed to the screen |
For some reason, CMUD printed the GMCP data to the screen and also logged it.
Here is the screen view I copy and pasted:
Person exhales softly.
3740h, 3500m cexkdb-
Person trains her expert eye on a distant target and lets fly an arrow with breathtaking precision.

Arrow venom: Loki
3740h, 3500m cexkdb-
Nocking arrow.
This is what it printed to log. Also notice that it wrote it to the log 3 times. I have consistently reported this writing to the log multiple times before. It does this when you print lists and other things as well.

Perhaps it is/was a broken packet. I am not sure. There are really two possible bugs here though. One is that it printed GMCP data and the other that it wrote it three times to the log.

I would need to see the Script Debugger output for this with the Raw Input/Output message turned on in order to do anything with this.

Well at this point I think it was that one packet. It did it just the one time. I will keep an eye on it though. However, that still doesn't solve the issue with logging multiple lines. I think a couple PM's I sent you also display this same behavior.

I'm not seeing any duplicate lines in my logs. PMs are bad ways to do support as I can't track them or archive them. If you have a way to reproduce the logging problem, send me an email instead.
