Embedded Commands in Paths |
I have a couple paths that goto areas and when I upgraded to CMUD 3.12 the commands in () stopped working. Instead of trying to open doors, climb directions, or move things ect they are skipped and try the next step after the parenthesis. Is there a different way in this version to embed commands in a path? Thanks.

You should probably post this to the BETA forum, but we need to see your exact path command. The () for embedded commands are still working fine for most people.

ses(open s)s2wsesene3se2se
2nen3e(dig e)e3sen2en2es
2neses2d(move boulder)3nwne2ne2s
Those are some of the paths that have ignored embedded commands. I have not tested all of them but so far none have worked. Is it possible it is not a 3.12 issue? Is there some setting for paths that ignores (commands)? |

I cannot reproduce a problem with this. Here is what I did to test this:
1) Run CMUD, close the Session window
2) Type
#LOAD "English Directions"
3) Type
.ses(open s)s2wsesene3se2se
It properly sent all of the path commands, including the "open s" command. If you are still having trouble with this, please post a detailed step-by-step procedure on how to reproduce this in a blank session. |
