How to start with a fresh map?

Hey All,
I don't have a map I really care about, and I keep getting errors about converting from an older version
of zmud, so how can I just start a new mapper file and delete the old one?

I basically just want a fresh start, anyone can help it would be great.

Thanks,
-Mastiff

1)just in case it's not actually the mapfile, rename your problem file so that it remains out of the way while you try other things

2)once renamed, try to start up your session and use the mapper. I forget if this will cause an error or just treat the session as though it has no mapfile, but if it creates a new file and no errors occur then you're probably finished with this issue.

3)if you got a new error, then create a new session, open up the session's mapper, and save the file with your old file's original name. Once the new error goes away, you can safely delete the new session or choose to include all the packages from your old session (and delete the old session).

4)if the same error appeared, you probably have a good mapfile and it's something else (layout, configuration settings, toolbars, etc) that's bad.
