Resetting the program - trouble

I've done something dunno what, but I dont have any output window or my text window at the bottom. I can start the program up but when I click to start a session I get a black screen.... how do I reset the complete program back to the default settings?

That sounds like a corrupted layout file.
Try holding the SHIFT key down while opening that session, you should be back to normal, your triggers, aliases and other scripts will all be safe. |

Got it, had to open the session off line in order to modify the screen.
