I don't think this would be very hard to implement but, the option for users to define the string that is used to fill the scroll buffer.
Defining multiple lines as well would be nice.
As is I bet 99%, of all beginning anchored triggers have failed/returned false by the 2n'd or even 1st char.
36 x upper/lower + 10 numbers + dozen or two symbols chars >=100
Also, can't say that i've ever noticed it being in any of the help files. I only know about it because of that lonnnnngg forum on speed and what gives and takes from a ways back. Maybe add to the triggers page? |

It's not mentioned because it's really supposed to be a debugging tool. Its use for anything practical is pretty limited, as this suggestion would imply, I guess ;)
Really though, there's no need for this because you can just do #loop number {#show string} and do your own tests however you like. It doesn't actually fill the scroll buffer, it just prints a few hundred lines IIRC. |
