information needed about #c+

Is there anyway to predefine the properties in a new window created with #c+ particularly the number of lines it holds?

No, but you can use #makewindow before you use #c+.

Not to my knowledge. You may set the size of the window with the #MAKEWINDOW and you can control the scroll back buffer of Child windows by going Settings -> Preferences -> Memory

In ZMud, anything that appears in the Preferences pages cannot be programmatically controlled. This is mostly true for the mapper, as well, though it does have a suite of functions and commands that emulate certain things.

While we are on the topic, settings changed in preference are automatically saved including their child windows, aye? Assuming your running the same mud file you changed them under of course.

Makewindow has two options, persistant (sic) and force, which control how the window in question is saved. Have a look at them in the help. But yes, if a window's open when you close zMUD, it'll be open when you open zMUD again.
