I don't think it's working right... I did as you said, but how do I switch modes now? :-/

meh, it's not working -_- can we try setting up the walkmode alias through the settings screen, instead of with the command line? :-/

ok, I dunno what was in update 2.30 for cMUD, but whatever it was, my walkmode stuff is now functioning properly ^_^

A little late, but a different approach:
use numpad as normal for normal walking
use ALT+<nunpad> for second set of directional commands
EX: ALT+4 <on numpad> will 'look west'
you can also add CTRL for third set
If you are lucky you can use 'window' key for yet another set

all i did was set macro commands for each key combination, then put all those macro
assignments into the english directions module
(just to keep it all together)

this way instead of switching "walkmodes" i simply hold down an extra key while walking.
