Problems with Mapper

I'm having some trouble with the mapper.

I've already got a map started, and I've since moved to different areas turned mapper on/off etc. I.e. all sorts of different things. When I come back to continue the map, the mapper does not recognize already mapped rooms. I.E. I try to enter an old room, or connect to an old room and it creates a new one on top of it. I can use the merge room feature to fix it, but when I'm mapping very large areas (the most likely places for me to stop in the middle), this is rather frustrating. I've tried closing zMud, reconfiguring mapper, reloading maps. Nothing seems to work.

Is this a bug? What do I need to do to reset this?

Also, if you are sprinting from room to room, is there a way to change a setting so it just auto-relocates you. My mud often 'loses' text on a fast sprint. (Though I think so of the following issue may be tied to the above problem)

Do your room descriptions change?

And is the sprinting a function of the game, or do you mean speedwalking?

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by the descriptions changing, but each room (often) has a unique description.

I mean speed walking.

Additional issue:

Multiple lines of exits are not seen (i.e. the text is wrapped before all exits are listed and zmud misses the rest of them)
